Neutralizes free radicals, accelerates cell turnover and inhibits the production of unwanted pigment, and also displays a wide range of bioactivity such as anti-cancer, anti-fungal, antibacterial, anti-viral and anti-inflammatory properties.
10% L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C): Neutralizes free radicals and promotes collagen synthesis.
0.5% ferulic acid: This plant-based antioxidant neutralizes free radicals, inhibits UV-induced melanogenesis, and has anti-inflammatory properties.
CLINICAL STUDY: In-vivo, Phloretin CF significantly reduces mean sunburn cell count vs. placebo when exposed to solar-simulated light, provides a high level of protection against UV-induced redness.
In the morning after cleansing and toning, apply to a dry face, neck and chest. Follow with the sunscreen to protect the skin.
It is normal for vitamin C products to darken after opening due to air and light exposure. Any change in color does not affect the product's efficacy.
